Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, the tongue-in-cheek musical that became a cult favorite and inspired a movie with a 35-year continuous run, is back on stage for Halloween.
The glitter-rock, horror-comedy extravaganza follows naive, newly engaged Brad and Janet, who seek refuge from a storm at the castle of gender-bending mad scientist Dr. Frank N. Furter, where they have their eyes opened to a whole new world of sex, science and maybe even love.
Feel free to sass and sing along to numbers like “Damn it, Janet,” “Sweet Transvestite” and, of course, “The Time Warp.” There’s a nightly costume contest, and approved goody bags for sale to help you make the most of this interactive theatrical experience.
